Lots of interesting folks, runners, postal workers, The Troops, medical workers and all kinds of other Do-gooders.The Do-gooders responsible for us being there were a couple of really cool balloon artists. I think it's a riot that I naturaly stand at attention when we make balloons for the kids of Service people. Something about a soldier standing there makes me measure my balloons out and perfectly and stand straight while i make the creatures.Of course it's because I respect them but it's also because I don't like doing push ups.

The only way into the parking lot is the sidewalk. We were worried the day may be a bust. Fortunately our fans roll in strollers. Storytime was packed and the most busy day the cafe had all week! Great group.

 I forgot that strollers are all terrain vehicles. You could even huck one across a chasm or use it flat as a bridge if you needed to.

Also there will be the House Jazz band. This shin dig is for tons of runners as they pass by during a huge event. I love doing stuff like this. Part prank, part spirit lift, i can be proud of this!
 My pay will be the expressions on the faces as they round the corner!
I think the Owner of the cafe is just doing his part to make Portland have something fun going on around every corner. I will have a giant water cannon too. Should we build a big slipNslide?

Repair job Rootbeer did fer a kid. Thats at the Tue. Storytime at the Warehouse cafe.10 am!

Today on the Esplanade a very uptight looking cyclist looked at me on my big bike and said "Bad idea!"as he sneered at his friend.He really sounded authoritative and his costume was perfect. Bet his friend was impressed! I laughed (it's been a not so bad idea for almost 9 years).

Hey I finally filled out and sent in my rental agreement to the landlord.

Starting the Cinco De Mayo Kids race!

Early Sunday morning there will be a giant event for running enthusiasts including a magnificent kids foot race!

Right before dawn it's the Mayor of Kid town Olive Rootbeer's duty to switch on the Dingotron1969 to balloon sculpt, be funny, pour gallons of free rootbeer for the kids and of course start the race!
