Jakefest 2011 part 1 the journey begins.

Jake the Alligator Man is Long Beach Washington’s most renowned resident he is a retired side show attraction who resides at Marsh’s Free Museum. Every year the Long Beach Merchants Association throw Jake a Birthday Party.
For 4 years in a row now Jake has asked Dingo to be his party clown. This is the first leg of the trip to Jakefest 2011.

gotta get up early to do the 2.5 hr. drive to Longbeach and make our 11 am stage time.

Uncle J is Oregon's son. He knows people and things all over the state. He tells me that we can see a bear if we go to that mountain range..all we would need is a pizza. Later I would realize that he just wanted a pizza and he was throwing the P-word in all his sentences. Please don't ever bring a pizza to a bear.

Forrest gets chopped down, fast growing trees are planted and almost let to mature but then are quickly cut down. It may look like a forrest but there is no life there.
